Ziply™ Fiber Launches Agent Channel Program

Company signs industry’s largest Master Agents as launch partners and continues to focus on building out and investing $500 million in its network

Kirkland, Wash. (April 15, 2021) – Ziply™ Fiber – which acquired the Northwest operations of Frontier Communications in May 2020 and immediately began investing an additional $500 million to improve its network and services and has been busy building new fiber connectivity to dozens of cities and towns throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana – today announced the launch of its Agent Channel Program, a major step forward in its Channel strategy across its four-state region. The company marked the occasion by signing agreements with more than 20 Channel partners, including most of the industry’s largest Master Agents, which will allow the company to rapidly expand its commercial services as it also rapidly expands its fiber network.

“We’re thrilled with the Channel’s response to our program so far,” said Chris Gellos, Vice President and General Manager of Commercial, at Ziply Fiber. “The interest from agents has been tremendous, and we’re seeing both the demand for our services in the marketplace and the desire among agents to showcase our offering when meeting with their clients. It’s clear our strategy of investing aggressively in building new fiber directly to businesses in our footprint is something agents find valuable to their clients.”

The company already has built and turned-up fiber in more than a dozen cities that previously didn’t have access, has five more cities in active builds and plans to announce dozens more for 2021 launches in the coming weeks. With more than 4.2 million feet of new fiber deployed in the last few months, Ziply Fiber is designing its modern fiber network – which services more than 210 regional cities and towns today and is adding more every month – to meet the internet, data, and voice needs of today’s world, while ensuring the capacity to handle whatever businesses need both today and into the future.

Understanding and seeing the tangible results of Ziply Fiber’s investment in its network was key to reaching agreements with several Master Agents. Notable launch partners in the company’s Agent Channel Program include:

  • AppSmart
  • Global Communications Group (GCG)
  • Innovative Business Solutions
  • Intelisys Communications
  • Sandler Partners
  • Telecom Brokerage Inc. (TBI)
  • Telecom Consulting Group (TCG)
  • Telarus, Inc.
  • Venicom

“TCG is proud to represent Ziply Fiber. Our partners across the country love the extensive fiber network they can sell and all the opportunities in the PAC WEST,” said Dan Pirigyi, partner, TCG. “Additionally, the fact that Ziply Fiber is investing half a billion dollars into network improvements and build-out makes them a carrier all of our partners should be recommending.”

Beyond its network differentiators, other benefits of Ziply Fiber’s Agent Channel Program include competitive commissions, a dedicated Channel Team, and a single place to go from everything from site qualifications to pricing requests and commission inquiries to account and billing questions.

Ziply Fiber’s commercial connectivity and transport solutions include dedicated Ethernet Internet Access from 10M to 10G and point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, wavelength, and dark fiber transport options. Also available are a broad range of networking and voice solutions to meet the specific needs of the region’s businesses.

With its focus on building the best, fastest network in its four-state footprint, Ziply Fiber is quickly becoming the connectivity provider of choice for bandwidth-intensive businesses like engineering, hi-tech, manufacturing, and finance/accounting companies.

“We are putting tremendous effort towards being simple and easy to work with and on taking care of our customers and agents,” added Gellos. “Our ability to get agents what they need quickly, honestly, capably, and reliably, and the investment we’re making in our network are important differences from what many may have experienced previously in the Northwest.”

Ziply Fiber is local in the Northwest, headquartered in Kirkland, Washington, and has major offices in Everett, Washington; Beaverton, Oregon and Hayden, Idaho. Most of Ziply Fiber’s executive team, which consists of former executives from AT&T, CenturyLink, and Wave Broadband, either grew up in the Northwest or have spent the better part of 30 years living here. That local ownership and market familiarity is an important part of the company mindset and culture.
